Hey Doug,

Scott Toro reporting in (trombonist, III MAF Band Aug. 84 - Aug. 86). Great website. It’s fun seeing the pictures of the ol’ gang. After Okinawa, I served for a year at the MCRD San Diego band before deciding to hang up the uniform and return to civilian life and college.

When I looked at your resume, I laughed when I read what your major and minor subjects in college were because our majors and minors were flip-flopped. You majored in business with a minor in journalism and I majored in journalism with a minor in business. Earned my degree from Humboldt State University in northern California.

I’ve worked mostly in the media since then . . . radio, television, newspapers . . . and am currently living in L.A.
