Fellow Marines:

I have just learned that Jack Allen, a former Sergeant that served with us in the 1980’s and 90’s passed away on December 25, 2006. Jack had prior Army service before coming to the Marines where he served with III MAF in Okinawa, then with the band at 29 Palms. Jack had recently beaten a bout with cancer and was in apparent good health. His wife Marilou told me that he had severe heart failure in the evening on the 25th.

Sad to pass along the news of another fallen comrade.
